All over the world, parents
and caregivers of individuals with Down syndrome are
seeking ways to help their loved ones achieve optimal health. More and
more research is emerging to support biomedical interventions that can
help these individuals reach this goal.

Dr.
Erica Peirson has devoted her career to studying the unique
biochemistry of children with Down syndrome. She is a Naturopathic
Physician, the Executive Director of Down Syndrome OPTIONs, and the
mother of a child with Down syndrome. She wants to spread awareness
about biomedical ways to help individuals with Down syndrome.
